I bought this serum on a whim. By “whim” I mean “panic brought on by my impending 25th birthday and my beginning to feel old.” Irrational? Yes. Did it make me feel better about turning 25? No. However, this serum is the equivalent of finally losing those last 5 pounds.
My skin is bad at best. I have the most odd combination skin ever (normal to dry-ish T-zone, oily cheeks) and was riddled with acne as a teen. Even after making it through the hell that is puberty, my skin would still break out about a week before good ol’ Aunt Flo stopped by for a visit. Not just a few pimples here and there either. Oh no. Big, red, ugly zits. Nothing I did worked. As I forged on into my mid-twenties, these breakouts became less severe but still ever-present. Enter philosophy and their little wonder serum.
Within 2 weeks of using it, my skin had started to transform dramatically. I no longer had to blot my cheeks in the afternoon so as not to look like an oil slick. My pesky dry-ish T-zone felt hydrated and was soft to the touch. One evening, I washed my face and walked out of my bathroom to answer my phone. When I went back to brush my teeth I looked in the mirror and couldn’t remember if I had washed my face or not. THAT was how good my skin looked.
My breakouts have all but disappeared. Of course, nothing like stress at work or the occasional bout of raging hormones to bring one of those pesky pimples out. With the serum, those pimples are very small and are gone within a maximum of 2 days. One bottle lasts quite a long time. I think I went through my first bottle in about 4 months. This one is very affordable at $40. You can use it day and/or night. I use this in the morning after washing my face. You only need 4-5 drops. It doesn’t sound like much, but it is enough to cover your face and neck. Two thumbs way up for this magic little potion.
